The Nashville Business Journal recently announced the 2017 list of Women of Influence winners. Nashville’s success is due to both men and women, yet women tend to be underrepresented in higher positions and not as widely known. For ten years the Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence Awards have recognized the women in Middle Tennessee who are shaping their companies, improving our communities and paving the way for the next generation of influential female leaders.
I was fortunate to win in the Entrepreneur – Women of Influence in 2009. This was a great honor as you are judged by professional accomplishments, community involvement and nomination strength.
